Notable Alternate Timelines in Relation to Root
With the discovery of parallel universes (or alternate timelines) comes a need to organize them. This document is a compilation of the most notable timelines which happen to be near our own in terms of distance.
for the sake of simplicity, time will be measured in Earth-based units (year, month, day, etc.).
Timeline I (Root)
I is our home timeline, referred to as Root. The
year is 2026, and homo sapien is the dominant species on planet
Earth in the Milky Way galaxy. No organisms in this timeline have
discovered a method of timeline jumping.
Timeline II
Timeline II is an anomaly. Rather than being parallel to
Root time-wise, II is shifted exactly 609
years to the left, making the current year in timeline II Root's present year + 609 (presently 2635
A.D.).
This timeline's relative nearness to Root makes it easy to
monitor. So far it has been found that the United States of America collapsed in their timeline, anthropomorphic beings (e.g. Ramona Evans) live alongside homo sapiens, and Xythese is the most prominent language.
Some organisms in II have the technology to timeline jump,
although few have attempted one.
